Can you believe it's already 2012?
A quick little Christmas wrap-up:
Ailey was very excited to get her remote from Santa
Ava was excited for her new dress from Santa too! I can't believe I didn't get a pic of her with her new piano :(
We had a fantastic Christmas this year with Ava and Ailey and Dan's parent's. I have to say that Christmas is so much better now that Ava fully understands the concepts that surround Santa and the entire Holiday season. The girls had a fantastic Christmas Eve/Day with their Papa and Grandma. We went to our cousin Stu's parent's house for Christmas dinner and got this amazing pic of the girls giving some love to the little Porkchop (aka baby Ben).

A quick snooze before the Zoo
After Christmas we went to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo with the big Kamis clan and had so much fun. Dan got to ride on the carousel with Ava, and by got I mean had to as it was a bit cold for me. Afterwards we had a big dinner at Beau Jo's and Ava got a new hat. Do you like it?
Ailey got a new ducky since she was too little for the balloon hat.

New Year's came and went without much of a hitch and I have to say we like it that way these days. We got news that Dan will definitely be graduating this May and I finally got a new job. I start in February and we know it's about to get really crazy around here. The girls will be going back to daycare full time and poor Lola is going to miss us during the day. The past 7 1/2 months have been amazing being home with the girls and getting to see not only Ailey growing through her first year, but also seeing the bond that has grown between the girls. They really love being around each other and playing, even if Ava loves Ailey a little too hard.
I cannot promise how often I will update the blog about our life as it continues to get busier, but I hope that I can continue to document a little of our lives so our loved ones can share the memories. So have fun on the journey that is our lives in the Mile High City!
